How to Peel Off Almonds: Quick and Easy

Almonds are generally considered hot in nature. Eating raw almonds is considered a factor behind oily skin and pimples in young kids. So, it becomes very imperative to give them special treatment specially during summer. Therefore, I always recommend using peeled off almonds in my certain dishes like  Almond Halwa  and  Almond Burfi I am hereby explaining a very simple method to get peeled off (skinless) almonds. Method 1: Prep Time: 5 to 6 Hours Soak the almonds in water for at least 4 to 5 hours. You will see that the skin is lightly shrunken. Blot the almonds dry with a paper towel or a clean kitchen towel. Now squeeze them gently to remove the skins. Let them dry and now your peeled (blanched) almonds are ready for your dish. Generally, we use  Mawa ( मावा) to prepare Burfi. But as we know that we cannot trust the quality of mawa now a days especially during Navratre Fasting. So, I used Milk Powder instead of Mawa ( मावा)  and it will taste just like Mawa ( मावा)  Burfi.  It is very easy to make.
